Welcome to Miss Jess’ Home Daycare! We are a family owned and operated in-home daycare located in Bridgeport. My name is Jessica, and I'm the owner and operator. I'm an Early Childhood professional with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and more than 20 years' experience in the field of childcare. Here at Miss Jess’, we learn through play and interaction. Your child will be welcomed into my care, and will spend his or her time here engaging in fun and developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning, independence, and a sense of well-being and accomplishment.
As a mother and a former preschool teacher with lots of childcare experience, I understand the need for quality care with a loving and friendly caregiver in a warm and inviting environment, and I offer just that. I strive to make each child feel that this is their "home away from home", and I pride myself on the small-group, family atmosphere that I provide for the children in my care. It is important to me that each child feel respected, loved, and welcome in my home. I care for each child as if he or she were my own, and I truly enjoy this aspect of having a small group! With in-home childcare, you get all the benefits of having your child cared for in a loving and safe environment, just like you would care for them in your own home. Your child will not be one of many but, rather, will receive individualized attention while making new friends and learning new things each day. We can't wait to grow and learn with you!
